  Chapter 7, The apology Lexi woke up in her dorm room to the sun coming in through her window. She realized she had cried herself to sleep without getting ready for bed. She vaguely remembered her friends knocking on her door but she’d ignored them. She wasn’t quite ready to talk about it. She headed down the hallway and to the bathroom. She looked at her reflection. Her hair was a rat’s nest, there were mascara stains around her eyes. She cleaned off her face and brushed her hair and then she cleaned her teeth.   Chapter 6, Questions and Answers      “So, Mad Maddy had her?” Bridgett asked as she sat down on the couch. Mal nodded. They were all on a video chat so they could discuss this funny business. Thaddeus shook his head. “The question is how she did it,” Everyone thought about it. Was it a breach in the barrier? Did she somehow manage to hack the system of no technology and contact someone? No one knew. No one could think of anything. “Was she framed?” Breanna asked. “Perhaps,” Ben sighed. A month later, Christmas was coming soon and Lexi and Thaddeus were planning the wedding.  Chapter 5, Here we go again Lexi was in her room, addressing wedding announcements. Thaddeus did their engagement photos just a few days before. Lexi was just putting the announcement in an envelope and addressing it to her grandparents, when her phone buzzed in her back pocket. Thinking it might be Thaddeus bidding her goodnight, she picked it up. But it wasn’t that. It was the group chat of both Auradonions and Americans. Chapter 4, Yup, things are about to get weird (again) “Wait! The tree!” Lexi exclaimed. Thaddeus and Lexi ran back to the backyard, Lexi calling out for her parents but they were already running outside. “What was all that commotion? Lexi, Thaddeus are you okay?” Mom asked in concern. But Lexi and Thaddeus were staring at the tree in bewilderment. The tree was just like it had been a few moments before. “The tree! It was just on fire!” Lexi exclaimed.
