A Cute Little Moment: Chapter XII: The Little Moments Storyline:):):):):)

The “Little Moments” Storyline 😊 (Eight months after Lexi and Thaddeus were married😊) I woke up with a smile on my face that morning of October 21 st . Not just because it was my birthday, but it was my first birthday as a married man. Even though Lexi was six months pregnant with our daughter, she still woke up before I did for work just to make pancakes dressed in whipped cream and raspberries. I could smell it when I woke up and the next thing I knew, she was walking into our room with a plate in her hands. “Lexi, you didn’t have to do this,” I had told her, pushing my glasses onto my face as Lexi had placed the plate in my hands. I knew she had to be exhausted. “What are you talking about?” she’d replied, one hand supporting her belly as she’d used her other hand to make a gesture like she was actually brushing my comment aside. “Happy birthday, honey!” she had smiled, carefully bending her knees so she could kiss me on the cheek. I’d blushed and I had wondered if I w...

A Cute Little Moment: Chapter XI: Lexi and Thaddeus's dancing moment: Part Three:):):):):):):)

Lexi and Thaddeus’s dancing moment: Part Three 😊 “Thaddeus!” shrieked Lexi, rushing through the school doors to see her true love after the night before. She had attended many of her dance studio’s cast list announcements, but never one where they had read her name off the list first. “Lexi!” Thaddeus said, grinning as he caught Lexi in his arms and kissed her forehead. “How did it go last night?” “Thaddeus, I’m the Sugarplum Fairy,” Lexi whispered, grinning as her cheeks flushed. Thaddeus’s smile grew even wider and he threw his arms around Lexi’s waist and scooped her up and swung her around in the air. “Lexi! That’s fantastic ! I’m so proud of you, Fangirl!” exclaimed Thaddeus as Lexi giggled with glee as Thaddeus started to put her down, but not before she had planted a kiss on his lips. “Thank you so much, sweetheart.” Lexi whispered. She had been thrilled when she first heard the news, but now she had told Thaddeus, she was even more enthusiastic than before. “...

A Cute Little Moment: Chapter X: Lexi's Nutcracker Struggles:):):):):):):):):)::):):)

Lexi’s Nutcracker struggles (Almost three months after Lexi’s family moved back to Albuquerque 😊) Everything was bright with early Autumn sunlight as I walk into the gym this October morning. Lexi had texted all of us on Friday night telling us that she was about to hear cast news about the Nutcracker and she would fill us all in when she gets to school this morning. I was excited to hear what she got, even if I had to go see her in The Nutcracker as a friend. Instead of bringing her daisies, her favorite flowers, I would settle for pink roses. Instead of going to see her outside of her dressing room, kissing her, telling she was the most stunning dancer I had ever seen, I would tell her that she did a great job in the show and make do with one of Lexi’s hugs. Just a hug. Even if her hugs were some of the best hugs I had ever experienced. I make my way to our corner to find that all of my friends are already there and I can’t help but smile, even if every time I see Lexi, it’...

A Cute Little Moment: Chapter IX: Lexi's Sweet 16 Party:):):):):):):):)

Lexi’s Sweet 16 Party (Also known as the “The Moment I Knew” storyline) I feel myself getting more and more excited as I nervously pin my curtain bangs back with a barrette. Couldn’t have them falling into my face tonight. Though, if Adam finally decided to kiss me tonight, him brushing my bangs out of my face might make it more romantic. Perhaps Adam would be in that mood, it almost being St Valentine’s Day and all. Him kissing me would make the best sixteenth birthday present. I brush some sparkly lavender eye shadow on my eye lids and some pink blush on my cheeks before putting my only-saved-for-ballet-recitals red lipstick. I know, it might seem kind of cheesy, but hey, tonight was going to be epic, and epic occasions deserve special things like red lipstick. I hear my doorbell ring and I give a little hop of excitement and run down the stairs to answer it as my hand runs along the Valentine’s heart garland that’s draped on the banister. Just as promised, my friends were he...

Two scenes: One unseen one, and one with a little bit more detail: Conner and James getting suspicious about boys and a scene with Lexi talking to her mom about Thaddeus:):):)

Scene where Conner and James find out about Adam and Thaddeus 😊😊 “Hey, guys! How are you?” Lexi greeted, happy to talk to her brothers, one of whom she only got to talk to once a week. James smiled at Lexi. “I’m doing alright. You?” he replied. Lexi couldn’t stop the mischievous little grin that came onto her face. “Well, I actually have some news for you both,” “Oh, right! The Nutcracker cast list! Is it out yet?” Conner asked. Lexi shook her head. “No, it’s not. That’s not what I wanted to talk to you about, though,” Lexi said. “What is it then?” James wondered. “Well,” Lexi began. “Someone just asked me to the homecoming dance.” Conner’s and James’s eyes expanded to the size of dinner plates. “What?” Conner said, deadly serious. “Who is he? What is his name? Where does he live?” Lexi snorted. “His name is Adam and I’m not sure where he lives,” she said. “How old is he?” James asked. Lexi smiled at the question. “He’s 17. And he thought I was cute.” she ...

A Cute Little Moment: Chapter VIII: The Love is an Open Door scene :):):):):):)

The “Love is an Open Door” scene ☹😊 I jump at the sound of the doorbell. I’ve been sitting on pins and needles for thirty minutes after I got ready, waiting for Adam to come and pick me up for the homecoming dance. I was wearing a deep sapphire blue dress, one of the school colors. Adam would be wearing a red tie, our other school color. All of the rest of my friends are just going solo, even Thaddeus, which confused me. I thought that there might have been someone in the school who he liked because he’s kind of been acting all weird lately and I asked him on Monday if he had a date to the dance, to which he replied, “No. I don’t have anyone here that I really want to take.” So, that was that. Maybe he was just too nervous to ask her. I was still lost in thought for fifteen more seconds until the sound of the doorbell snapped me out of my reverie. “Oh! He’s here,” I say, feeling flustered as I dash to the front door to answer it. “Hello!” I greet Adam as I beam at him. He ...

A Cute Little Moment: Part VII: Thaddeus and Lexi's Movie Night:):):):):):):):)

Little scene that Lucy and I came up with 😊Lexi and Thaddeus’s movie night😊(Three weeks after Adam dumped Lexi☹) This is fine, I tell myself as I step out of my car. It’s just a movie night with Lexi. Everything is fine . I take one more deep breath as I hesitantly ring the doorbell. I break into a sweat right before I hear Lexi’s sweet voice saying, “One second!” just before she opens the door. “Hi!” she says, sounding happy to see me. I can’t hold back a grin as she envelopes me in a hug. I blush as I internally groan. Why do I have to blush at EVERYTHING? “Hey!” I say as I walk in the door and drink in the familiar sight of Lexi’s house and the smell of whatever wax melt her mom had put in to make everything smell like home. “Are you ready for this?” Lexi says, like we’re about to go through peril, which I guess we are. The movie we’re about to watch is a rough one. “Let the games begin,” I say awkwardly and she beams at me. It may be surprising, but Lexi has love fo...
