A Cute Little Moment: Chapter II: The Werewolf Storyline:D:D:D:D:D
The Werewolf Storyline๐
(Somewhere chapter ten and eleven)
Hey guys. My names Breanna for the people who don’t know me
and I’m here to tell you a story! One day in April after all of the drama with
Auradon ended, Lexi invited all of us over to her house to celebrate. Thaddeus
came and picked all of us fangirls up and we all drove there together. When we
got there, we all came to the door and my little sister, Gabrielle rang the
doorbell. It sure didn’t take long for Lexi to come and answer it.
“Hi!” she said as she threw her arms around me.
“Hey!” I said back as she went and hugged everybody else. If
you hadn’t noticed already, Lexi is a big hugger.
“So, what do you guys want to do?” Lexi asked as everybody
walked through the doorway. One of our friends, Bridgett, smiled.
“We could play a game,” she suggested.
“Yeah! What game should we play?” Kaylee agreed. Thaddeus
spoke up this time.
“Do you have Werewolf, Lexi?” he asked, slightly timidly.
Lexi nodded.
“I do!”
“I thought it might be fun,” Thaddeus said. I nodded.
“Yeah, let’s do it!” I said as Lexi went to go get the game.
Now, for those of you who don’t know what Werewolf is, I’ll explain. So,
everyone who’s playing will have a different role and if your role is the
werewolf, you have to choose someone to kill. The other roles are, the doctor,
the detective, and the lovers and if one of the lover’s gets killed, the other
lover will die. Then we all vote to see who’s the werewolf and we guess it, the
game’s over and we win.
“Okay, who wants to be the narrator?” Lexi asked the room. I
couldn’t help raising my hand. I LOVE being the narrator. The narrator is
basically the person who runs everything and comes up with the murder story.
Lexi grinned.
“Okay, Breanna’s the narrator,” she told everyone as she
handed me the game. As everyone else sat down, I began looking at cards until
something caught my eye: there were two identical cards that read, “Lover”. I
smirked as I had a sudden idea. I let fate decide for the werewolf and the
doctor and such but I deliberately slipped the lover cards into first Lexi’s
lap, and then Thaddeus’s.
“People of our town, go to sleep!” I proclaimed
dramatically. “Lovers!” I exclaimed. “Awake and gaze into each other’s eyes!”
I hear a few snorts around the room as Lexi’s eyes popped
open and darted around the room until they locked with Thaddeus’s Sea green
ones. I heard Lexi sort of chuckle quietly while Thaddeus’s reaction was
altogether different. His eyes were suddenly piercing, as begging me not to do
anything stupid. After Thaddeus shut his eyes again, I told the werewolf to
wake up. The werewolf turned out to be Kaylee and she made up her mind to kill
Thaddeus. I couldn’t stop the smile that started on my face. This was going to
be good! After Bridgett saved Gabrielle as the doctor and Gabrielle inspected
Lexi as the detective, I made everybody wake up again.
“Now,” I began. “Last night, one of the villagers was rather
stupid and decided to take a walk even though there were werewolves out last
night! The werewolves attacked that villager and killed them! And that
villagers name was Thaddeus!”
Everyone let out a collective “ooh” as I let my earlier
smile creep back onto my face.
“And because Lexi was his lover, she died, too! But before
they die, the lovers must share one last kiss!”
Everyone’s eyes turned to Lexi and Thaddeus, waiting to see
what they would do. Lexi’s face had turned bright red as she stared down at her
feet and Thaddeus was giving me a look that seemed to say,
“That is EXACTLY what falls under ‘doing something stupid’!”
“Breanna, I don’t remember that part being part of the
game,” Thaddeus said instead, an obvious edge creeping in his voice. Lexi
nodded in agreement.
“Yeah, can’t we change the rule? That’s a weird one,” Lexi
whispered, sounding uncomfortable. I scoffed silently so no one would hear me
do it.
“Hey, I don’t make the rules. I just enforce them,” I
replied, making Lexi look all the more uncomfortable.
“Breanna, you know I can’t,” she whispered. That was indeed
true. I did know full well that she couldn’t kiss Thaddeus because of her
relationship with Adam, but I didn’t care about that. Adam wouldn’t even care
because I can see that he doesn’t love Lexi like I thought he did at first. He
was such a jerk and didn’t deserve to date my best friend. So, I fully
supported Thaddeus in his desired relationship with Lexi. It was about time
that Lexi opened her eyes and see who did deserve her.
“So?” I spoke. Lexi gave me a look of indignation.
“‘So’ I can’t!” she exclaimed quietly. Thaddeus nodded,
slightly reluctantly.
“Yeah.” He said
softly. I could hear the pain in his voice and frowned.
“It’s not like you and Adam married, Lexi,” I said cooly.
Lexi chewed lightly on her bottom lip, a look of actual temptation in her eyes.
Where did that come from? I didn’t think she had a crush on Thaddeus, too,
whether she knew it or not.
“Why?” Lexi asked. I shrugged unhelpfully. Lexi sighed.
“You’re not gonna leave this alone, are you?” she said,
exasperated. I shook my head.
“Nope,” I said, throwing a casual wink to Thaddeus as he
scowled at me. I could see Lexi’s face soften as she gave Thaddeus a look,
speaking through her eyes,
“She’s not going to let this go.”
Thaddeus shrugged weakly as he and Lexi began leaning into
each other’s bodies.
Oh, it’s finally happening! I thought excitedly.
While I was trying to help Thaddeus and Lexi both, it was also kind of a
selfish motive, making them kiss each other. Just as Lexi and Thaddeus’s lips
were about to touch, I could hear Mrs. Pieper’s footsteps coming to the living
room and Lexi instantly pulled away. Inside, I think I might have actually
sworn.
“Hello ladies and Thaddeus,” Lexi’s mother said generously.
“Do you guys want some snacks?”
“Yeah, that’d be great,” Lexi replied, looking regretful.
The two hours we spent after that were far less awkward, the
game of Werewolf long forgotten and drowned in endless rounds of Mario Kart.
Later, when the rest of us stepped out of the door, however, it was clear that
Thaddeus had NOT forgotten. Once the front door was closed and we were in the
car, Thaddeus rounded on me.
“Breanna, what heck was that?” he asked me seriously. I
shrugged uncomfortably.
“I was trying to help!” I insisted. Thaddeus grumbled, his
hands covering his face.
“You are aware that she’s in a relationship with
somebody else?” he said, somewhat condescendingly. I could feel my eyes flash.
“Yeah, with someone terrible! He’s been awful to her right
from the beginning! You see that, don’t you?”
Thaddeus sighed
sadly, his facial expression softening at the still sad memory. “Of course, I
do. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about that and wish that I could
protect her from him. But getting her to kiss me isn’t really what I had in
mind of protecting her,” Thaddeus explained. Eventually I nodded.
“Okay, I got it,” I said. Thaddeus nodded and gave me a
closed lipped smile after pushing his glasses back up his nose.
“Thanks for the effort, though,” Thaddeus said as he started
the engine and started to driving down the street.
3 months later
“Hey, do you guys want to play Werewolf?” Lexi suggested as
Thaddeus and all of us sat down in the living room. I grinned.
“Yeah, sounds like fun! Can I be the narrator?”
Lexi laughed as she went to get the game. “Sure,” she said,
handing the game to me. After the werewolf killed Lexi and everything else
happened, I began telling the murder story.
“Now, a young maiden went to pick flowers to clear her mind
and the wolves attacked! Now poor Lexi lies in her grave,” I said, feigning
tears slipping down my cheeks. “And of course, her lover died, too! All right,
lovers, you know what to do,”
Lexi laughed and flushed. “Oh,”
Thaddeus grinned smoothly at Lexi as he brushed one side of
her bangs behind her ear and gently kissed her.
“Ooh!” all of us squealed, glad that our favorite ship was
finally together.
