Last chapter of Fangirls, book two!!!!! π❤️
Chapter
20, A Happy Ending
Thaddeus had been out on his service
trip for about five months. He was really enjoying it! He got to serve people,
sometimes he got to eat at other people’s houses and they were all very kind!
He loved it when he got to call home every week and talk to his family! He even
learned to speak fluent Gaelic for the service trip, which came in handy on
some days. One day, when he was out with his companion, (When you’re on a
service trip like this, you’re given a companion that goes with you when you
serve. Except every six weeks, you or your companion could get transferred to
another part of where you’re serving) he happened to learn about the Claddagh ring.
He recognized the name from somewhere and then he remembered where. Lexi had
told him about it because she had Irish heritage and a Claddagh ring. The ring
is a round circle like any ring, but the circle ended with two hands and the
hands are holding a heart and the heart has a crown on it. There was a cute
little tradition that came with the Claddagh ring. See, if you’re single and
not dating anybody, the ring goes upside down on your right hand. If you’re in
a relationship with somebody, in goes right- side up on your right hand. If
you’re engaged to be married, the ring goes upside down on your left hand. If
you’re married, it goes right-side up on your left hand. Thaddeus liked the
whole Claddagh ring thing and he thought it was a very pretty ring too. He
really wanted to get Lexi one when he got home. In fact, he knew a very special
way he could get her one. If she would say yes . . .
This is Bella
Simmons. I hope enjoyed Fangirls, book two. The Prologue for the third book
will be on the blog next week! π
