Chapter 1 of Fangirls, Book two!!!!!!!!! :D:D
Chapter 1 There’s no place like home
So, Lexi and her parents soon started
packing the house for the last time and putting it in a trailer. They would be
arriving to New Mexico on July third so, school would be out but, the fangirls
and their one yes fanboy, were coming to help them unload the trailer and
unpack the house. So, on July third they arrived and on July fourth, the girls
and Thaddeus came to their new house. Lexi ran out to see them. “Hello!” she
said as she gave everyone hugs. “It’s so great to see you!” she exclaimed.
Thaddeus’s eyes widened. Wow, I thought she was lovely before, but she
blossomed. No, no we’re just going to be friends,
Thaddeus thought as Lexi came up to
him. And Lexi gave him a big hug. “Oh, Thaddeus, it is so great to see you!”
she exclaimed.
“It’s great to see you too!” he
said, hugging her back. Lexi giggled, as she let go.
So, Thaddeus and the girls helped Lexi and her dad unpack the truck and then helped Lexi’s mom unpack. The movers had already been there, so, they had book shelves and books to put on their book shelves. “Oh, I missed you guys so much!” Lexi said as they went to their living room. Gabrielle smiled at her.
“We missed you too! How was Jefferson?”
she asked. Lexi shuddered.
“It was awful! Everyone in family
school made fun of me because of my squealing,”. Thaddeus felt heat rise in
his cheeks. That is really mean, making fun of people just because of something
they do. “I was so glad when we moved to California. No one made fun of me
there. They just teased me playfully,” Lexi explained. Thaddeus kind of felt
nervous for some reason. Like he was going to stutter if he started speaking. It
was basically like he was getting to know Lexi again and he remembered why he
liked her. It was her kindness and her goodness and her spirit. And, she was
gorgeous too. She had shoulder-length strawberry blonde hair with layers and
curtain bangs that always fell in her face and deep hazel eyes and freckles
across her nose and-
Oh no. I think I like her again,
He thought. But wait, why is that
a bad thing? I can ask her out now,
He felt excited and nervous at the prospect. So, the six friends played board games and had some snacks and they even stayed for the fireworks for the fourth of July and the barbeque. But after that, they all had to leave. Lexi sent them off with hugs and waves as they drove off. “It was so great to see her again!” Bridgett exclaimed. Thaddeus was driving and thinking, so he didn’t really say anything until he dropped Kaylee off at her house.
“So, I think I have a crush on Lexi again,” Thaddeus said to Breanna, who was in the passenger seat. Breanna snorted.
“Why am I not surprised?” she said. Thaddeus shook his head.
“Don’t judge me! But I do need your help. How do you think I should ask her to homecoming?” he asked. Breanna shrugged.
“Maybe, you should something descendants themed,” Breanna suggested.
“Maybe something like- Thaddeus cut
her off because he had an idea.
“Ben’s proposal!” he exclaimed. “Except I change it so I say homecoming instead of marry me,” he said. Breanna nodded in approval.
“That’s it! You have done your homework, my friend” Thaddeus shook his head.
“You were the one who gave me the idea!” he exclaimed.
Breanna smiled.
“That is an awesome idea!” Gabrielle said from the back. Breanna turned around to look at her little sister.
“Listen, you do not tell anyone about this. Especially not Lexi,” Breanna told
her. Gabrielle scoffed.
“No, duh,” she replied. Breanna sighed
with relief.
So, as soon as Summer ended and school
started, Thaddeus would make an early proposal for homecoming and he would make
special for Lexi. Because Lexi was very important to Thaddeus. So important in
fact, that we get her a bouquet of daisies and lavender sprigs. (Those are
favorite flowers Breanna had told him) and hopefully, she would say yes.
