Chapter 19, School like never before

A week after they got back from Auradon, the fangirls and Thaddeus came to school. Thaddeus, and his new family. (Thaddeus’s cousins and aunt Emma went to the same family school. The mothers teach the classes) The fangirls and Thaddeus met up at the usual corner. (After the adventure of Auradon, Thaddeus felt like hanging out with the girls) But, Thaddeus had to go to the social dance class soon after they arrived. Along with Conner and James, who also knew about the Auradon adventure. “So, did you really try to destroy Auradon?” Conner asked. Thaddeus nodded.

“Yes, but I didn’t mean to,” he said. Conner was still smiling though.

“Still, I have never been prouder,” Conner said proudly.

“Oh, um, thank you,” he said uncomfortably. Do you not realize that I would be destroying actual people and thus crushing your sister’s soul?

He thought. Soon after, Lexi and her friends were walking down the hall for class and saw Karen. Karen, of course, glared at them. Lexi scoffed and her and her friends suddenly had floating sparks in their hands. “Don’t make us use this,” Breanna said. Karen screamed and ran the other way. The girls started laughing so hard as they made their way to class. Most of day went by as usual. Except they had history before art. Soon, they saw Thaddeus at lunch. 

“So, did you see Karen today?” he asked. Lexi nodded.

“She glared, we threatened, she screamed and ran,” Lexi explained. Thaddeus’s eyes widened.

“Wow, you threatened her?” he asked. Lexi shrugged.

“Well, sort of, it’s not as bad as it sounds,” she explained and then said what Breanna had said. “Either way, it felt awesome!” Lexi exclaimed. Thaddeus chuckled.

“Well, I can’t blame you. She drives me crazy,” he said. After lunch, the fangirls had book club and P.E, where they played basketball. Breanna was glad when they found out that were going to start a basketball team, and Lexi was glad when she heard that they were going to start a cheer team to cheer on the basketball team. As everyone walked out of the door to the gym and started walking to the parking lot, they were all glad that all their dreams coming true. And not just the one where the school was finally starting sports teams, that Auradon existed and that they could all visit whenever they wished. They would all always be best friends. But alas, Lexi’s dad was in the military and a year later they left New Mexico and moved to Jefferson Illinoi. But they still had Auradon to keep them connected. They would meet in the space between.   The “Love is an Open Door” scene ☹😊 I jump at the sound of the doorbell. I’ve been sitting on pins and needles for thirty minutes after I got ready, waiting for Adam to come and pick me up for the homecoming dance. I was wearing a deep sapphire blue dress, one of the school colors. Adam would be wearing a red tie, our other school color.
