Chapter 17 of Fangirls!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

 

Chapter 17 Home again

Soon after Mal and Ben left for their honeymoon, the fangirls and Thaddeus helped clean up the great hall, putting away tables, cleaning the floor, the works. As soon as they were done, they went and changed into their normal clothes and then came up to Evie. “Hey, can we keep these?” they asked, holding up the dresses and tux that Evie had made. 

“Of course! I made them for you, didn’t I?” she said, smiling. 

“Thank you! Also, do you know how to get back to our home?” asked Lexi. Evie nodded.

“Yep! You just move your hands in circle, and say where you want to go! That should open up the portal. This doesn’t work everyone, just those with magic,” Evie explained. Thaddeus nodded.

“Well, we all have magic!” he said, happily. So, they all said good bye to everyone, saying that might be back soon. If their parents let them that is. So, they went outside of the great hall, and did what Evie said. Soon, they found themselves back in Lexi’s bedroom. “That was the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me!” Kaylee exclaimed. Suddenly, Lexi’s mom burst on them.

“Where have you been?! You’ve been gone for days! And Thaddeus, when did you get here?” Lexi’s mom exclaimed. Lexi raised her eyebrows.

“Days?” she asked. Mom nodded, a serious expression on her face.

“I have some explaining to do, Mom,” Lexi said. So, she dove into the story. How they were somehow transported to Auradon, and how they were rescuing Ben so they insisted on helping them, and then defeated Thaddeus and the spell got broken. 

“So, Auradon actually exists?” Lexi’s mom asked. Her name is Carlee, by the way. Lexi nodded. 

“Here, I’ll show you!” Lexi said, as she opened up a portal and said where she wanted to go. Her mom screamed all the way down, but when they landed, she gasped as she saw everyone. 

“This all exists!” she exclaimed. Evie smiled at them.

“I didn’t think you’d be back this quick! Who is this?” she asked.

“This is my mom, Carlee,” Lexi said as her mom shook Evie’s hand.

“It’s nice to meet you!” she said brightly as she also met the rest of the gang. 

“Where are Mal and Ben?” she asked. 

“Mal and Ben just got married earlier this morning! They’re on their honeymoon” Evie explained.

“Oh, awesome! I didn’t think Lexi would want to miss that. She has waited for three years,” Evie nodded.

“Yeah, she told us that there were documentaries about us,” mom nodded. Evie and mom chatted for a long time, before Lexi had to pull her back so that they could take everyone home from Lexi’s house. So, they left Auradon. Lexi was just glad that her mom didn’t bring up Carlos. After, they dropped off everybody at their houses, Lexi apologized to her mom for disappearing. 

“Thank you. I can understand you probably couldn’t help it and I probably would have done the same thing. Just next time, ask me first,” mom said. Lexi nodded.

“Rodger that!” she said as she gave her mom a hug.

  The “Love is an Open Door” scene ☹😊 I jump at the sound of the doorbell. I’ve been sitting on pins and needles for thirty minutes after I got ready, waiting for Adam to come and pick me up for the homecoming dance.
