Chapter 16 of Fangirls!!!!!! :D

 

Chapter 16 dancing with love

Soon after the wedding, they went to the great hall where the wedding reception was going to be. Everything was decorated for this grand occasion. There was a five-layer cake and lemonade and punch for the guests. Everything was decked out in royal blue and royal purple banners. Since those are their favorite colors and they go well together, those were their wedding colors. There was a dance floor on one side of the ballroom, and some tables on the other. The tables had bouquets of purple snap dragons and black dahlias in the table’s centers and there were blue and purple cloth table cloths. “Jane did a really great job planning this thing!” Ben exclaimed as they walked in. Mal nodded in agreement. As soon as they walked in, the music started playing and everyone started dancing. It was like a swing dance song. 

“Would you like to dance, Lexi?” Thaddeus asked her. Lexi smiled.

“Sure!” she said. Thaddeus took her out on the dance floor and they started to dance. Thaddeus (To Lexi’s surprise,) was really good at it. “Wow Thaddeus!” Lexi said as he twirled her around.

“Where did you learn to dance like this?” she asked. Thaddeus smiled at the question.

“Well, you know that social dance class in family school?” Lexi nodded.

“Well, I’ve been practicing really hard and I kind of always dreamed of this moment and I also I kind of pretended that every partner I had was you,” he said nervously. Lexi smiled again.

“Oh, that’s sweet. A little creepy, but sweet!” she said. Thaddeus laughed.

“I’ll take it!” he said, twirling her around again.

 

Later, the fangirls were sitting in the corner, eating cake. It was good cake. Vanilla with strawberry and lemon. They were also watching Mal and Ben dance, looking into each other’s eyes with love and affection, and they clapped along with rest when their dance over. Suddenly, Ben was over in the fangirl’s corner.

“May I have this dance, Lexi?” asked Ben, bowing to her. Lexi’s eyes widened very much.

“You want to dance with me?” she asked, in shock a little. Ben chuckled.

“I don’t see any other beautiful fangirls dressed in lavender over here,” he said sweetly.

“Are you implying that we’re all beautiful?” Gabrielle asked. Ben smiled.

“Of course! Who wouldn’t? Your looks and your spirits,” he said, then he turned back to Lexi. “So, how about that dance?” he said in a soft tone. Lexi was trying to say yes, but no words would come out of her mouth. 

“If she could talk, she would say yes!” Breanna said, with a helpful push on Lexi’s back. Lexi smiled back at the girls and squealed softly. The fangirls all gave Lexi to thumbs up. After Lexi and Ben started dancing, the girls started squealing. “Holy Moses on a rocket powered pogo stick!” Breanna exclaimed

“Do you realize what just happened?” she asked.

“Ben just said something romantic to US!!!!!” they exclaimed. Mal overheard this commotion and came over to the fangirls. 

“I remember the first time Ben ever said something romantic to me!” she as the girls were blushing with embarrassment. “I wouldn’t admit it, but I felt warm from head to toe!” she said, squealing. The girls were surprised that Mal had squealed. Then, Harry walked over to the girls. 

“May I have this dance milady?” he said to Kaylee with British accent. Kaylee nodded fervently.

“Will you excuse us, Mal?” he asked. Mal nodded, winking at Kaylee. Kaylee was smiling that big smile of hers again. Soon after, the same happened for Bridgett and Gabrielle. Breanna frowned, realizing that her crush couldn’t dance with her. But then, to her surprise, Gil came over. “May I have this dance milady?” echoing what Harry said to Kaylee. Breanna nodded, actually excited at the prospect of dancing with him. 

“Your Dad is actually my favorite Disney villain,” she said timidly.

“I don’t know what Disney is, but I’m glad to hear it!” Gil said, winking at Breanna. Breanna blushed.

 

Later, Mal walked to where Lexi and Ben were dancing. “Do you mind if I snag him?” Mal asked. Lexi nodded, but looked a little disappointed. Then Thaddeus walked over. 

“May I have this dance milady?” he asked her sweetly. Lexi nodded, smiling and blushing red. Even later, Mal called Lexi over to where she was standing. 

“Hey Lexi! I want you to meet someone!” she called. Lexi ran over.

“Okay,” she said.

“Maddy, this is Lexi. She helped save Auradon. Lexi, this is Mad Maddy. She’s the granddaughter of Madam Mim,” Mal said. Maddy smiled at Lexi.

“Hello Lexi!” she said brightly. But Lexi was death glaring her. Maddy looked confused.

“Is there anything I can do for you?” she asked, uncomfortably.

“You can die slowly cut into a thousand pieces” (Princess Buttercup, The Princess Bride) Lexi said dramatically. Mal’s eyes widened. 

“That’s enough out of you!” Mal exclaimed, covering Lexi's mouth as Maddy walked away.

“What was that?” Mal asked.

“Don’t you remember what she did to you?!” Lexi asked. Mal sighed.

“What did she do to me?” she asked.

“She pushed you into a bay full of crocodiles!” she exclaimed. Mal raised her eyebrows.

“How did you know that?” Mal asked. Lexi sighed.

“Return to the Isle of the lost, chapter 31, page 221!” she cried. Mal raised her eyebrows again.

“I’m not even going to ask,” Mal said, walking away.

 

All too soon, it was time for Mal and Ben to drive away to their honeymoon in Ben’s car. Everyone was cheering and blowing bubbles as they got in the car. Meanwhile, Mal and Ben were driving away.

“So, I heard you and the girls obsessing over me,” he said. Mal’s eyes widened.

“You heard that?” she asked. Ben nodded and chuckled.

“Every word,” he said, still chuckling.

“Oh,” Mal said, turning away and blushing pink.

“Don’t get me wrong, you’re squealing is cute,” Ben teased. Mal blushed even more.
