Fan Girls Prologue

 

Once upon a time after all the happily ever after’s, even after all the ever after after that (As the Isle of the lost would say) I'm Lexi and I LOVE DESCENDANTS. I saw the first movie when I was six. I was immediately hooked. (Ahhhhh a Descendants reference! It never gets old.)  I know is it's not real, or so I thought ha! (Another descendant’s reference!) I am eleven years old and have a royal CRUSH on the HANDSOME king Ben.  He’s so dreamy. *Swoons obsessively*Wait, what? Did I just say that out loud? My favorite character is Mal. I have four friends, and they are Breanna, Bridgett, Kaylee, and Gabriel. I saw the second movie when I was eight, and I was not immediately hooked with this one. Even though it is when the reference was born. My best friends are OBSESSED, just like me. They all have crushes on someone from descendants. Breanna has a crush on Carlos, Bridgett has a crush on Doug, Gabriel has a crush on Jay, and Kaylee has a crush on Harry. But it's a pipe dream for all of us to have Ben say something romantic to us because of a book writer called Melissa De La Cruz. In her books (which I’m sure we have all read. We all talk about it a lot) there is a lot of romance, and I LOVE IT. I saw the third Descendants movie when I was ten.  Again, I was IMMEDITAELY HOOKED. IT IS MY FAVORITE OUT OF ALL OF THEM!!! So, funny story: while watching Descendants two for the first time, folding my laundry, minding my own business, then all of the sudden Uma came on the screen. I was like “what is she doing here?” Then I saw Ben kiss her hand, and I was like “that’s it, this is the last straw!” and I started running down the hall and screaming really loud. Mom came home from a doctor's appointment and she was like “ALEXA BRIGETT PIEPER WHATS WRONG!?”

“BEN BROUGHT UMA TO COTILIAN!!!”

“What?” (She had no idea what I was talking about, so she just went into the family room with an empty mind about what was going on.) I came running back into the family room, grabbed my Ben barbie, and started hitting it. I ran down the hall to my barbie house, stuffed him into the bed, and yelled, “GO PRICK THE SPINDOL! MAL OR UMA WILL NOT BE BACK TO KISS YOU!!!” I came back to the family room and Mom, Josie, and Cristy (Josie and Cristy are my older sisters who were watching with me) all said at the same time “Lexi you missed it!” 

I said, “what did I miss?”  “Mal and Ben just kissed!”

I said “wait what? “So, I found the remote and I went back and, “what happened?”   Then sister Josie said, 

“Ben was spelled” Then I was like 

“ohhhhhhhhh” If you're wondering, no I did not have a crush on Ben. (Then, mind you.) you want to something funny? it is that very movie that got me crushing on Ben. Funny right? because I hated him throughout the entire movie. (Well not the entire movie.) I watched it for a long time thinking it was Ben's fault for the fight and well that is not even a little bit true. If Mal had not lied none of that would have happened and if looks could kill Mal would be very dead. You want to hear another funny story? you have all seen the third Descendants, right? remember how there was no wedding in the ending? well that kind of drove me crazy for a long time and one night I had asked my mom if we could look up to see if there was a video of them getting married on u tube so we searched it, and clicked on something. At first, I thought it was a video of them getting married because I heard wedding bells and I saw the stained-glass window, but as it turns out it was just a video of a picture being made. And after we had prayer that night, I just started crying because whenever I'm sad and I shut my eyes, the tears start coming.  I went up to my room to cry it out and I kind of had one of those shoulder angel and shoulder devil moments. Shoulder devil “I WANT TO PUNCH WHO MADE THAT IN THE FACE” Shoulder angel “no shoulder devil no everyone is good and just. Know Lexi the best way to express your anger is to take it out on your angry pillow know let us go” And so I said a prayer to heavenly father too help me calm down then I went to bed. crazy right? but I've gotten over it.  how fun my life is, but it is about get a whole lot better and this is where our story begins (return to the isle of the lost, prologue)

  The “Little Moments” Storyline 😊 (Eight months after Lexi and Thaddeus were married😊) I woke up with a smile on my face that morning of October 21 st . Not just because it was my birthday, but it was my first birthday as a married man. Even though Lexi was six months pregnant with our daughter, she still woke up before I did for work just to make pancakes dressed in whipped cream and raspberries.   The “Love is an Open Door” scene ☹😊 I jump at the sound of the doorbell. I’ve been sitting on pins and needles for thirty minutes after I got ready, waiting for Adam to come and pick me up for the homecoming dance. I was wearing a deep sapphire blue dress, one of the school colors. Adam would be wearing a red tie, our other school color. All of the rest of my friends are just going solo, even Thaddeus, which confused me.
