I published the wedding today because I'm nice like that. Chapter 14 of fangirls, book three!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D

 

Chapter 14, Operation Laddeus: Completed! *NOISEMAKER NOISE AND CONFETTI*

Thaddeus was standing at the alter standing at the end of the circular pavilion with Conner, James, and Austen as his groom’s men. There was a red carpet they were standing under that came from the other side of the circle and the guests sitting on either side of it. Just immediate family and close friends. They had extended family coming to the reception which was in America. It would be difficult to explain to all of them that this magic fantasy world was real, especially since some of them had never even heard of it. First, Lexi’s little niece Adelaide was the flower girl and her nephew Theodore as the ring bearer. Then, Lexi’s bride’s maids. She had a lot of bride’s maids because she had her friends, her sisters, and Thaddeus’s sisters and his cousin.  But she didn’t have a maid of honor because, how was she supposed to choose between everyone? And at last, the thing we’ve been waiting for, Lexi and her dad. Even though Thaddeus had already seen her, he was still taken aback by how beautiful and radiant she was. Lexi’s father kissed her face and passed her into Thaddeus’s strong and loving embrace and everybody took their seats again. The Fairy Godmother, who did all of the weddings in town, started the ceremony.    

“Dearly beloved, we gather here today in holy matrimony and in celebration of Thaddeus Henry Hawthorne, and Alexa Bridgett Pieper,”. Theodore came up with the rings on a green velvet pillow with golden thread. Lexi smiled down at Theodore as she took Thaddeus’s golden ring off of the pillow.

“Thaddeus, my dear, handsome, real-life prince, I promise that I will always be by your side, that I will never leave you and I will always love you, since you were always there for me, I’ll always be there for you. I promise to nurse you when you’re sick, to cook for you, and to cry with you. I love you,”. Thaddeus beamed at her and mouthed, “I love you, too”. Then he picked up Lexi’s infamous claddagh ring and slipped it onto her finger as he started his vow. 

“Alexa Bridgett, my lovely, wonderful fangirl, with this ring, I promise to love you forever, to protect you from the world, and to put you before everything else in my life. I promise to never lie, cheat or desert you; I vow to be loyal and loving to both you, and our future children. I love you fangirl,”. Lexi smiled at Thaddeus as a few tears slipped down her cheeks. All of the fangirls were crying already and so was Thaddeus’s aunt and Lexi’s mom. Fairy Godmother grinned as she continued.

“Do you, Alexa Pieper, take Thaddeus Hawthorne to be your husband, for all time and eternity, to love and keep safe?”

“I do,” Lexi smiled. The Fairy Godmother smiled bigger.

“Do you, Thaddeus Hawthorne, take Alexa Pieper to be your wife, for all time and eternity, to love and keep safe?”

“I do, with all of my heart, I do,” Thaddeus said, sounding happier than he ever had in his entire life. Fairy Godmother teared up at that point.

“By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you, husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride!” she said happily. Lexi jumped a little bit before Thaddeus put his hands on her arms and pulled her toward him and his lips instantly found hers. Everyone jumped and cheered as they kissed each other with so much love.

“This OTP is now cannon!” Gabrielle cheered as Thaddeus and Lexi’s foreheads touched and they started laughing.

“Finally,” Thaddeus whispered.

“Finally,” Lexi whispered back.

“Lead the way, Mrs. Hawthorne,” he said, grinning as he grabbed her hand and they both walked out of their wedding.

  The “Love is an Open Door” scene ☹😊 I jump at the sound of the doorbell. I’ve been sitting on pins and needles for thirty minutes after I got ready, waiting for Adam to come and pick me up for the homecoming dance.
